Aftermath

After last night’s share your blog, I feel the pressure to add something witty and cool and worth your while. I mean, there are a handful new followers and I would like to keep you interested in the blog and in me, but… My mind is blank.

But then this happened: the first poem of the year…

Healing love

Blank space
Blind eyes
Empty smile.

How I wish you could see me…

Tormented soul
Memories on my arms
Tiger mind.

How I wish you could feel me…

Letdown town
Scorched star
Raining tears.

How I wish you could hold me…

Bloodied body
Worried doubts
Barren love.

How I wish you could love me…

Broken days
Rivers of ice
Run with me for miles.

How I wish we could be free…

Drenched in secrets
Showered with desire
Hidden in the spotlights.

How I wish we could love without fears.
